So it took me about 30 minutes from box to watching a movie on Netflix to get everything set up. I am no computer genius…just your average person and I had no trouble following the setup instructions that pop up once you turn on the set. I used a wireless connection and it all flowed smoothly. I had to jump around a couple times trying to figure out a few settings but nothing major. It took me a minute to figure out how to get the onscreen keyboard to pop up so I could type in my network password. All in all I wish I had one for every room in my house. It rocks!!!

I bought this TV because I wanted something that mount on my bedroom wall so my wife and i could watch TV in bed. I wanted the tv to have internet aps do that I didn’t have to hook a bunch of other stuff to it like dvd player etc…
1) The picture quality is quite good. I LOVE the fact that it is truly high def and not just a 720 model.
Setup is pretty easy. This tv found all the tv stations and programmed them in with much greater precision than my much more expensive Sharp tv in the family room.
2) The sound is pretty good for any standard bedroom. It doesn’t sound great when you try to pump up the volume really loud, so if I had this as my primary tv in a large living room I would definitely add speakers to it, but for a bedrrom the internal speakers are more than enough.
3) I have heard no high pitched noises like others have complained about. I am guessing that problem has been fixed.
4) My wife and I both HATE the extra light that comes out of alot of the lcds on today’s electronics. My computer even has tape on it to cover the lcd lights. That said, the glowing Visio light on this tv doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t get that complaint about this tv and I highly doubt most people would be bothered by it (although from the reviews it is clear that some people are)
5) The internet applications are awesome and why I bought this. I hear the Sonys have many more, but it all truth most applications on any tv are worthless. Netflix works well (and that is 95% of use). I’ve also used it to listen to internet radio and pandora, and that works well too. I hooked up a local news ap so the weather is always handy. I dont want anything else so that is good for me.
6) The remote is adequate. I have no troubles using it and find it fairly intuitive, although since it has no backlighting it can be a little trickier to use in the dark.
7) The size is perfect. Any larger and it would be too dominating an unwieldy for a bedroom wall installation. Any smaller and you might not enjoy watching as much. I think the size of this screen is perfect for a bedroom or den.
This tv is a very good value for the money and I highly recommend it.

I have had my eye on this tv for a while now. But based on the reviews I was really very hesitant to purchase it. All of the complaints about the weird, loud buzzing noise really was of great concern for me. As well as the other complaints I have been reading. We still decided to take a chance and purchase the tv. At least we were well aware of what possible issues the tv could have. And worst case scenario we would just have returned the tv. Now, we just have had the tv for a few days now. If at anytime, something crazy goes on I will be sure to edit my review.
As for right now though.. after a couple of days of watching this tv and such, we have NO complaints. Except that the remote is a bit awkward. But that is not even a real complaint for us. We hear no buzzing noise at all.. We have played the tv for hours on end, then turned it off and still no buzzing sound do we hear. Which is a great relief for us because that was our biggest concern! It’s just weird that some people experience this buzzing noise and some don’t. Maybe different batches of the tv that was manufactured have this defect and some don’t?
The tv was easy to set up.. Netflix works wonderfully on it! So does Amazon Instant Video on Demand. I haven’t tried to other internet apps yet.. So can’t speak for them.. But Netflix and Amazon Instant Video on Demand are the main apps we especially bought the tv for! I don’t care too much about the other apps. But I will try them out soon just to see how they function and if they are functioning properly. TV has a clear picture, great sound.. Like we really have no complaints at all and nothing strange is going on with our tv at all..
But again, if anything changes I will be sure to edit my review… But for us, personally, we are very glad we decided to take a chance and buy this TV.. It’s an awesome tv at a great price! Well worth the purchase!!

I recieved my 32 inch LCD Vizio with Internet Apps and I was just a bit worried at first. I had read reviews on Amazon that said the tv set would buzz when it was turned off, that Pandora didn’t work correctly, or that the television would just go out. However, I set up my TV very easily and everything worked perfectly. There was no buzzing, Pandora worked fine without adjusting any settings, and Netflix on the 1080p full HD screen blew my mind.
I was also surprised to find that the television would even pick up the HD versions of my analog channels given that the TV is not connected to a digital box. That made me excited. I really enjoy the ease of use of the television and its beautiful picture and sound. I also like that the volume settings on the internet apps and on cable inputs are separate, so when Pandora is cranked up, the cable doesn’t necessarily have to be. That was handy.
Overall, for $350 on Amazon, this HDTV is a steal. I think the lowest price anywhere else is at SAMS Club for $425 give or take. Honestly, I am extremely satisfied with my television and I hope that it will last for quite some time. If I had the means to buy another, I would. I’ll probably buy Vizio in the future if this television maintains its greatness and provides a satisfactory longevity.
